Goods are returned by customers to shops, online traders and mail order catalogues every day for various reasons such as being under the merchants 14 -16 day money back policy, the item is unwanted or is suspected to be faulty. Items are also returned by high street stores and catalogues for such things as box damage, parts taken from the box to replace a missing or faulty item, or if it was a display item. These items are then sold in bulk to businesses such as ourselves.  All products are then sorted, tested and refurbished if required. This involves testing using specialist test equipment by trained electronics engineers and repairing any minor faults or replacing any missing items as required. They are then fully tested to ensure the equipment is fully functional. Some items are refurbished by the manufacturer, but can not be sold as new, so these are classed as "Factory refurbished" goods and often come with a full manufacturer's warranty. The items are then graded according to their cosmetic condition and packaging. Q. Why buy graded goods? A. Graded goods offer excellent value for money and are often half the price or less than you would have to pay in the high street or online for the item "brand new". If you don't mind the product having minor cosmetic marks or the user guide supplied on CDROM then you can make big savings on the ex-display and grade stock. Items that have damaged packaging ore re-boxed in plain cartons. The picture box is just for display in a shop. We display the product and features online so why pay for it? Please see the table below for a guide to our product grading and packaging. !!< Product Information Description New These item are be brand new and unused, in original box / packaging with all accessories and user guides. These are either brand new stock held by ourselves or one of our suppliers which will have a full manufacturers warranty or surplus, end of line or courier returned stock. New Open Box These products are new and unused but the box has been opened and the contents checked. Re-boxed These items have been re-boxed in a plain carton after testing or refurbishment. A Grade These items are in 'as new' condition. They have no noticeable cosmetic marks and are generally  'as new' and perfect. These can be 14 -16 day customer returns, courier returns or ex-catalogue items. They may be plain boxed and / or supplied with the user guides on CD ROM or available as a download. Details will be given on the item description. Ex-display Items that have been on display in store. They may have very minor cosmetic marks. B Grade These items are in very good condition but will have some small cosmetic marks. They may be plain boxed and / or supplied with the user guides on CD ROM or available as a download.
